Though you might not know him by name, you've certainly seen Serbian actor Rade Sherbedgia in recent films like X-Men: First Class and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I, not to mention films from years passed like Snatch and Mission: Impossible 2. Now the actor is poised to take on a pivotal role in the anticipated action sequel Taken 2 with Liam Neeson returning for some ass-kicking. Filming is set to begin on the film later this month with Rade Sherbedgia playing Murad, the father of a kidnapper slain in the long line of fatalities caused by the lethal Bryan Mills (Neeson) in the surprise hit from 2008. Read on!

Heat Vision says Sherbedgia's character is described as a vengeful man who gives orders and doesn't take them. When Murad takes Mills and his wife hostage, their daughter is enlisted to help save them. Though it sounds like Maggie Grace, who plays Neeson's daughter in the original film, is made out to be the hero in the sequel, I'm betting that Neeson still has plenty of opportunity to throw some hard punches and dish out some pain. Famke Janssen is also returning as Neeson's wife in the sequel which comes from Colombiana director Oliver Megaton working from a script by Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen.
