We haven't seen or heard much more about Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows since the first trailer and poster set debuted back in July. Warner Bros has plenty of time to continue building up buzz before its December opening, and to kick start the marketing again, they've unveiled two character banners/posters via Yahoo. Once again we get a look at Robert Downey Jr. as Holmes and Jude Law as Watson, face-to-face. Though it should've been Holmes opposite of Moriarty, played by Jared Harris, and Watson opposite Sim, played by Noomi Rapace. Expect to see more from Game of Shadows soon! Excited?
Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows is again directed by British filmmaker Guy Ritchie, of Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch, Revolver, RocknRolla, and the first Sherlock Holmes. The screenplay was written by husband & wife writers Kieran & Michele Mulroney, who wrote and directed the indie film Paper Man. Warner Bros and Silver Pictures are bringing Sherlock Holmes 2 to theaters starting December 16th.
