'Hangover' has weekend binge with $103.4M debut

LOS ANGELES – "The Hangover Part II" binged at the box office with a $103.4 million haul over the four-day Memorial Day weekend, setting a new revenue record for a comedy debut.
The sequel to 2009's blockbuster surpassed the previous best comedy opening of $85.7 million for "Bruce Almighty" over Memorial Day in 2003.
The weekend's other new wide release, "Kung Fu Panda 2," opened in second-place with $60.9 million.
The top 20 movies at U.S. and Canadian theaters Friday through Monday, followed by distribution studio, gross, number of theater locations, average receipts per location, total gross and number of weeks in release, as compiled Tuesday by Hollywood.com are:
