'X-Men: First Class' co-stars Michael Fassbender and Zoe Kravitz were seen getting cozy and reportedly could not keep their hands off each other during a romantic stroll in New York on Sunday.

The rumored couple earlier had brunch with a few friends including actor Ben Foster, who happens to be Kravitz' ex.

UsMagazine.com is reporting that Kravitz, 22, and Fassbender, 34, began dating during the filming of the new 'X-Men' movie in 2010 but the couple did not go public until recently.

A source is quoted saying, "They're really low-key, but they have a great time together just talking music or movies. They really didn't want to be a topic of conversation during the press for X-Men."

The source also says that it was Kravitz who captured Fassbender's heart right from the start and it is she who is taking control of their relationship, "For how good looking and smart he is, Michael's pretty shy. She is actually the one taking care of him most the time. She really respects his talent."

And as for their 12-year age difference, the source says that Kravitz is very mature for her age, "In that she has very strong opinions and she is very confident in herself. Most people are shocked to learn she's so young; she doesn't really bring it up and age would never stop her from dating anybody."

Kravitz is the daughter of singer Lenny Kravitz and 'The Cosby Show' actress Lisa Bonet.

In the 'X-Men: First Class' movie, Kravitz plays Angel Salvadore while Fassbender plays Erik Lehnsherr who eventually becomes the mutant called 'Magneto.'
