Natalie Portman Addresses 'Black Swan' Double Drama

All that doppelganger drama in "Black Swan" isn't half as exciting as what's been playing out off screen between Natalie Portman and her ballet double, Sarah Lane.

First, Lane got her tutu in a twist and claimed she did most of Portman's footwork, then director Darren Aronofsky, co-star Mila Kunis, and choreographer Benjamin Millipied all cried fowl — er, foul — and said that just wasn't so.

Now Portman has stopped dancing around the issue and is setting the record straight.

"I had a chance to make something beautiful with this film," she told E! Online, "and I don't want to give in to the gossip."

Okaaaay… We understand that Portman could give a flying fouetté, but does she kinda, maybe think she should have included Lane in her Oscar acceptance speech?

"I don't remember my Oscar speech at all, and I'm actually too embarrassed to watch it," said Portman.

Gotcha. Though she refused to ruffle any feathers by feeding into the "Black Swan" controversy, Portman didn't stay mum when talking about her next project: motherhood.

"I have to admit, it's really fun being able to take it easy and not worry about food," said the "Your Highness" star, who admits a weakness for ice cream and desserts. "At the same time you have to be healthy because there is a person inside me."

And we assume that person's name is not Sarah Lane.
